"Jose Mourinho is a phenomenon"

Former Real Madrid director of football Arrigo Sacchi has heaped praise on coach Jose Mourinho.

Saachi served as director of Real from 2004-2005. Before that he had coaching stints with AC Milan, Parma, Atletico Madrid as well as the Italian national team.
Speaking of new coach Mourinho, who arrived from Inter Milan in the summer, Sacchi was quoted by AS.com as: "He is a phenomenon worthy of study, a single copy and his replacement or clone does not exist.
"He is the team leader, the lightning rod and the catalyst, the manager and the creator.
"He is a leader capable of bringing to light the hidden human resources and give everyone confidence and conviction.
"Mourinho masterfully directs teams both tactically and psychologically.
"He is a great coach, denying it would be like denying that after day comes night."
Mourinho faces massive expectations at the Santiago Bernabeu and high praise will surely encourage the Special One as he tries to mould a team of superstars into a cohesve unit that can challenge for trophies on multiple fronts.
